Services for SAT  Reading & Writing Tutoring

Package 1: 4 Sessions *

This package is designed for students who wish to brush up before the Exam. Each session will be spent on one of the four areas on the Reading & Writing Section of the SAT. Strategies for each of the four sections will be provided as well as sample questions to practice for the exam.

Package 2: 8 Sessions *

This package is designed for students who are really looking to significantly increase their scores in the Reading & Writing Section of the SAT. Students will be given a baseline diagnostic before the sessions start. The first four sessions will be spent on the distinct sections of the Reading & Writing section; just as the SAT utilizes adaptive testing, the additional sessions in this package will be tailored based on the student’s specific needs for improvement from the diagnostic and individual sessions. Targeted activities will also be included to help improve students’ weakest areas such as vocabulary and grammar. By developing the skills themselves, in addition to practicing SAT sample questions, students can build skills needed to improve their scores.

College Essay/Application Package: 4 Sessions

This package breaks down the college essay writing process and basic common application questions. We will start by looking at successful sample essays, and through discussions, we will find a topic that embodies your personality and strongest traits of character. The final sessions will be used to revise and edit your essay. Since many colleges utilize AI detectors to check for authenticity; students need to capitalize on this opportunity to demonstrate their voice and writing skill. A solid college essay can influence the final decision made by admissions.
